Sarah Bickers in the Kanelis laboratory was the recipient of the Poster Award in Presentation Excellence at the 65th Canadian Society for Molecular Biosciences: Membrane Proteins in Health and Disease that was held in Banff, AB from April 6 - 10. Sarah’s poster highlighted some of her past work on the structure of Ycf1p, which is a member of the ubiquitous ABC protein superfamily. Her poster also showcased her new and exciting work on a form of Ycf1p that dimerizes, the first time that a dimer has been observed for ABC proteins. Well done Sarah!
