Interacting Respectfully with Accessibility Services Staff

Accessibility Services is committed to supporting a culture of respect and well-being for our staff by ensuring they have a safe and respectful working environment.

To foster this, abusive behaviour toward our staff is strictly prohibited.

Abusive behaviour can be in any form (in writing, in person, on the phone, etc.) and may include:

  • Personal attacks or rude and disparaging remarks regarding Accessibility Services staff
  • Use of obscenities, profanities, degrading comments, insults, vulgar or sexist language, humiliating remarks or racial/religious slurs
  • Yelling
  • Bullying behaviour
  • Intimidation of any kind, as well as threats or acts of violence

We welcome respectful feedback on what we are doing well and how we can improve the services we provide.
