Accessibility Services (AS) – We provide services and accommodations to students who have physical, sensory, or learning disabilities, mental health condition, acquired brain injury, autism spectrum disorder or chronic health conditions. Students who have temporary disabilities are also eligible to receive services.
Career Centre (CC) – We provide you with online resources including job postings, networking events, career learning panels, networking events, employer information sessions and access to information on further education and career opportunities. We also have skilled Career Counsellors and Employment Advisors who provide resume critiques and one-to-one consultations to help you make sense of options.
Centre for Student Engagement (CSE) - We are committed to your learning and development. Informed by research and assessment, our co-curricular programs and services promote community engagement through innovative opportunities that contribute to student success. You can get involved in one of four initiatives housed in the Centre for Student Engagement: Community & Civic Engagement, Leadership and Student Recognition, Student Organizations & CCR.
We are also committed to providing students and their families with a comprehensive set of engaging and informative programming that will support students’ academic and social transition to and through UTM. Through our programming you will make friends, discover resources, gain academic skills, and feel connected to UTM. We offer new students programming (O-Week, LAUNCH, utmONE, utmONE Scholars, STAC and Eagle2Eagle), upper-year programming (REACH and Exam Jam), and parent and family programming (Orientation and outreach initiatives).
Experiential Education Unit (EEU) The Experiential Education Unit (EEU) at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) aims to enrich the undergraduate education experience by promoting and nurturing unique opportunities and approaches to learning both within and outside of the classroom. By actively engaging faculty and students in the community, and promoting strong relationships between community partners, faculty, students, academic studies, career exploration and community involvement through academic and outreach experiences to broaden the scope of what it means to study at UTM.
Health & Counselling Centre (HCC)- We are your partners in achieving physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing while studying at UTM. Our Centre is staffed by a friendly team of health professionals that promote overall health and wellbeing. As doctors, nurses, personal counsellors, a psychiatrist, registered dietician and health educators, our goal is to support students in being happy, healthy and well.
Indigenous Centre (IC) – You are invited to learn about Indigenous culture and ceremonies by connecting with an on-campus Traditional Indigenous Aboriginal Elder. Initiatives may include drumming circles, learning circles and the Waawaathe Northern Lights Experiential Journey.
International Education Centre (IEC) – Whether you are an international student or you are interested in international opportunities, the IEC is here to help you connect with other students, internationalize your experience and join a cross-cultural community at UTM.
Office of the Registrar (OR) – we maintain your permanent academic records and are the place to turn to if you need academic advising, financial aid advising and assistance with awards, forms and petitions. We can also answer questions about OSAP, grants or bursaries and scholarships.
Recreation, Athletics and Wellness Centre (RAWC) As a UTM student, you are a member of our comprehensive fitness and health facility that features a dance studio, squash courts, a 25-meter swimming pool, two gymnasiums, cardio and strength training equipment, golf cages, a high performance lifting centre and an indoor running track. We also offer individual and group activity support, and administer the outdoor playing fields, tennis courts, beach volleyball courts and basketball courts.
Robert Gillespie Academic Skills Centre (RGASC) – We offer a full range of workshops, seminars and individual consultations to help you identify and develop the academic skills needed for success in your studies. We work collaboratively with UTM faculty and teaching assistants to help deliver the best possible environments in classes, labs and tutorials.
UTM Library, Hazel McCallion Academic Learning Centre (HMALC) We are your partner in scholarly research. We have a team of academic librarians to help you, plus loads of study carrels, study rooms, casual seating, computer stations and – of course- books! We provide you with a vibrant, comfortable and safe environment to learn and study with friends. We are excited to meet you and hope you will come and check out our beautiful light filled library, meet our team of experts, and of course answer your blackboard questions too
