I’m an international lifescience professional with a passion for the commercialization of healthcare solutions. My 10 years in the industry in medical and marketing roles are highlighted with projects developed with patient associations, medical societies, physicians and external partners to bring value to physicians and patients in line with company objectives. My highlight achievements include the launch of a blockbuster drug in diabetes in Canada, developing the first French patient support program in allergology, and managing a brand team that oversaw the launch of a new drug and indications.
How did your experience in the MBiotech program contribute to your career success?
The MBiotech program opened my eyes to new career paths that were previously unknown to me. Through its multidisciplinary program, I graduated with a wealth of translatable skills as well as a strong network and meaningful friendships.
What are some of the key skills and knowledge you acquired during the MBiotech program that are still valuable to you today?
During the MBiotech program I acquired valuable skills and knowledge that I still use today. Some that can be mentioned include: clinical trial evaluation, finance and accounting, project management, working under pressure in a team, be open minded to new experiences and find people who will help you grow.
Are there any memorable or transformative experiences from your time in the MBiotech program that you would like to share?
One of my fondest memories from my time in MBiotech was working in the lab in the summer and connecting with my classmates during evening classes throughout our work/internship terms.
Any major accomplishment/achievement/award you would like to share with us?
A highlight of my career path is moving to Europe as a marketing manager and performing the role in a new culture, language, and health environment.
