UTM student among victims of plane crash in Iran
It is with great sorrow that I write to inform you that UTM student, Ms. Zeynab Asadi Lari, was among those included on the flight manifest for Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752. The University will be updating the community in the days to come.
As information regarding supports and plans become available, I will share them with you.
I understand this will affect many in our community deeply and wish to remind faculty, staff and students of the supports available.
Student Affairs & Services are monitoring the need for a critical incident debrief and will make appropriate arrangements to support our students when required.
For Students:
- The Heath and Counselling Centre (905-828-5255), located in the William Davis Building across from the bookstore
- My SSP for U of T Students 1-844-451-9700. Immediate counselling support is available in 35 languages and ongoing support in 146 languages.
Faculty and staff have access to support through:
- The Employee & Family Assistance Program, offered through Homewood Health, online and by phone at 1-800-663-1142
