Here are 10 courses to check out this summer:

FSC100H5: The Real CSI (in person) – Forget what TV detectives taught you. Separate forensic fact from fiction by dissecting the science of investigations and pop culture’s influence on the justice system.

CIN206H5: Auteurs (online) – Study cinema through the lens of one director, tracing their artistic evolution, stylistic influences and personal obsessions that shape the stories they bring to the big screen.

GGR440H5: Drone Remote Sensing (in person) – With drones transforming industries, explore how they collect data, process aerial imagery and operate within regulatory guidelines.

PSY327H5: Psychology of Intimate Relationships (in person) – Swipe right on relationship science. From attraction to commitment, learn what psychology says about how we fall in—and out—of love.

AST252H5: Life in the Universe (online) – Are we alone? Journey through the cosmos to uncover the science behind the search for extraterrestrial life, from ancient Martian lakes to faraway exoplanets.

SAH200H5: Being Human in South Asia (online) – Immerse yourself in the flavours, rhythms and poetry of South Asia to examine how history, identity and culture shape how we see the world and ourselves.

HSC404H5: Visualizing the Past (in person) – Dig into the art and science of bringing the ancient past to life through photography, illustration and digital renderings.

ENG263H5: Play and Games (in person) – From the court to the console, examine why we play games, the stories they tell and how to design games that captivate and challenge players. Side quests optional.

POL312H5: Managing Military Conflict (in person) – Analyze the dynamics of conflict, co-operation and compromise that dictate how wars start, escalate and (hopefully) end.

EDS345H5: Design Thinking Incubator: From Problem to Prototype (online) – Got a big idea? Learn how to solve real-world problems, prototype solutions and bring your ideas to life using design thinking strategies.
