Programming Daylength and light intensity
A. Calculate the duration of each light step. This is a total of 24 hrs.
For example:
Lights on at 6:00 am and Lights off at 10 pm | |
Step 1: Lights off from 0:00 to 05:59 | = 6 hrs |
Step 2: Lights on from 6:00 to 21:59 | = 16 hrs |
Step 3: Lights off from 22:00 to 23:59 | = 2 hrs |
B. On the control panel, do the following:
1. Press PV/SV. SV should be lit up.
2. Press PNT until L1 is on display to set step 1:
a. Press ▲▲ to set Light level to 0 (lights off). Then Press ENT.
b. Once HOUR·MIN is lit up, set time to “06:00” using ▲▲ and ►► . Press ENT.
“06:00” = duration of time for this step in HH:MM format.
c. Set number of steps and cycle to “3. 99” using ▲▲ and ►► . Press ENT.
“3” = number of steps
“.99” = light program will apply for 99 days. You will have to come back at 99th day to ensure light setting will still apply the following day.
3. L2 should now be on display. Now, set step 2:
a. Press ▲▲ to set Light level to a number between 1 - 5 (lights on, brightest at 5). Then Press ENT.
b. Once HOUR·MIN is lit up, set time to “16:00” using ▲▲ and ►►. Press ENT.
4. L3 should now be on display. Now, set step 3:
a. Press ▲▲ to set Light level to 0 (lights off). Then Press ENT.
b. Once HOUR·MIN is lit up, set time to “2:00” using ▲▲ and ►►. Press ENT.
5. Press PV/SV.
C. Start the program.
1. Press PV/SV to set to SV.
2. Press PTN to select L. Press STEP until set to “L2” if the current time is between 6:00 am to 9:59 pm.
3. Press Start/stop key.
D. Stop the program
1. On PV, press PTN to go to running program. Then Start/stop key to stop.
