Borrowing terms and conditions
- A daily user fee will be charged to borrower's account by the end of the reservation. You may also only borrow the aquatic chamber for an additional daily fee. Please book the aquatic chamber separately under Reservations.
- This instrument can be borrowed for a maximum of 2 consecutive weeks. Penalties will apply if the instrument is not returned on time.
- Booking must be made through Bookitlab at least 6 days before the start of use. A one-day gap will apply between reservation blocks.
- Cancellation may only be done on Bookitlab before reservation start date. Contact utm.growth.facilities@utoronto.ca if you need to shorten your reservation.
- This instrument may be used only in approved locations indicated on the reservation form. Support from Growth facilities staff will only be administered at UTM.
- Only users trained by a Growth Facilities staff can handle this instrument. The training involves a self-study using the manuals and an 8-hour in-person training on assembly and use. Please email utm.growth.facilities@utoronto.ca to schedule training for this instrument (see Training schedules below).
- Growth Facilities will provide consumables required to run this instrument at cost. These are sorbead silica gel, CO2 cartridge and sodalime.
- The borrower will maintain this instrument in good working condition.
- The borrower will cover the replacement cost for any lost or stolen part.
- The borrower will cover the repair cost for any damage due to misuse of this instrument.
- Growth Facilities staff will inspect the condition of the equipment with the borrower on the return date.
