Spectral Composition of current light fixtures in 3092-02GC and 04GC:
Figure 1. Light Composition (%) of GEN1000/3028GC Across Different Light Set Points. This bar graph shows the distribution of light wavelengths (ranging from 400 to 700 nm) used in the light setups for two chambers, 3092-01GC and 3092-03GC. The light was adjusted using specific combinations of white and far-red light, resulting in unique compositions. Certain wavelengths are not displayed due to their minimal contributions to the overall light spectrum. The y-axis indicates the amount of light available to plants, measured as PPFD (µmol/m²/s), which is a standard unit for assessing plant light exposure. Additionally, wavelengths at the UV and Far-Red (FR) regions were measured which range from 380 to 780nm.
Click here to see the actual PPFD values (400 to 700nm), and PFD values (380 to 780nm).You will also be able to look at the smaller PFD values that were not displayed, and their wavelength ranges (nm).
Abbreviations: W = White Light, PFD = Photo flux density, PPFD = Photosynthetic photon flux density, UV = Ultra violet, B = Blue, G = Green, R = Red, FR = Far red/ Far red Light.
