U of T Scholars Program
The University of Toronto Scholars Program recognizes outstanding students with individual awards worth $10,000.  


President's Scholars of Excellence Award

Approximately 150 of the most highly qualified students applying to first year of direct-entry, undergraduate studies will be distinguished with $15,000.


U of T International Scholar Award 
International students applying from secondary school who are admitted to U of T Mississauga will automatically be considered for the University of Toronto International Scholar Award - UTM. Recipients receive one of the following:

  • UP TO $180,000 ($45,000 X 4 YEARS) 
  • UP TO $100,000 ($25,000 X 4 YEARS) 

U of T Mississauga Automatic Entrance Scholarship 
Three levels of entrance scholarships are automatically given to all domestic and international students admitted to our campus directly from high school with the averages listed below. 

  • 95.0% + Up to $12,000 ($3,000 renewable x 4 years) 
  • 92.0% – 94.9% $3,000 (non-renewable) 
  • 90.0% – 91.9% $2,000 (non-renewable) 

Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships 
The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship program is intended to recognize outstanding students from around the world who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement. Awarded annually, these prestigious and competitive scholarships cover tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years. 


U of T Advanced Planning for Students (UTAPS) 
UTAPS fills the financial gap for Canadian full- time students who receive the maximum amount of government financial aid, but whose government funding and other assessed financial resources do not cover all assessed costs.


U of T to cover tuition for students from nine First Nations communities
The University of Toronto will cover the cost of tuition for students from nine First Nations as part of its efforts to make the university more accessible and inclusive for Indigenous students – and strengthen relationships with Indigenous communities.
