Staff Changes at CDRS

Elisa Tersigni and Tia Sager

We are happy to announce that Dr. Elisa Tersigni will be returning to her role of Senior Research Associate, Digital and Collaborative Research at the Collaborative Digital Research Space as of Monday,July 8. Before joining CDRS, Dr. Tersigni held digital humanities postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Manchester, Folger Shakespeare Library, University of Toronto, and Northeastern University. Elisa completed her PhD in English and Book History & Print Culture at the University of Toronto. Her research spans digital humanities, early modern literature and history, food studies, book history, book arts, and DEI. She is currently writing a book on early modern women’s recipe books, Converting Cuisine: The Christianization of Jewish and Islamic Foods in Early Modern Europe, and is also a practicing book artist and musician. She’s available for consultations about digital humanities research and pedagogy. Welcome back, Elisa!

With that, we also say farewell to Dr. Tia Sager, who was the interim Senior Research Associate at CDRS from January 2023-July 2024. She will be heading to Finland in September to start a postdoctoral fellowship in Mediterranean and Near Eastern archaeology at the University of Helsinki. Tia's last day at CDRS isJuly19, so feel free to reach out until then if you need anything!
