The Academic Integrity Unit (AIU) in the Office of the Vice-Principal Academic & Dean (OVPAD) handles all allegations of undergraduate academic misconduct at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM). We serve as an information resource that strives to promote the values of integrity and educational excellence at UTM.
The primary roles of the AIU are to:
- Handle allegations of undergraduate academic misconduct under the Code of Behaviour on Academic Matters;
- Educate, inform and encourage faculty, staff, and students on issues and processes related to academic integrity; and
- Develop and implement educational initiatives aimed at raising awareness about the importance of maintaining academic integrity.
On this website, you will find useful resources and information related to academic integrity and its importance at UTM. We encourage all students, staff, and faculty who are visiting our website to explore how we can collectively create a positive learning environment that emphasizes the value of academic integrity to all members of our community.
The materials contained on this website are provided for information and general guidance only. You may need individual advice based on the particular circumstances of your case.
