Student Resources

UTMCIP staff will work with campus partners, including the Office of the Registrar, Accessibility Services, Career Centre, International Education Centre, and the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Office to best support students throughout the preparatory program and work experience. This campus-wide collaboration ensures that students are supported as they progress through the UTMCIP and transition back into regular academic programming after the completion of their mandatory work experience.

It is the University’s goal to create a community that is inclusive of all persons and treats all members in an equitable manner. Students are encouraged to utilize the following resources when needed:

  • Accessibility Services supports and facilitates the accommodation of students with a documented learning, physical, sensory, or mental health disability and/or medical condition.

  • The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Office (EDIO) promotes an equitable and inclusive campus community, free from discrimination or harassment based on age, ancestry, citizenship, colour, creed, disability, ethnic origin, family status, gender expression, gender identity, marital status, place of origin, race, record of offences, sex, and/or sexual orientation. UTM students and employees are welcome to contact the EDIO for complaint resolution assistance if they believe they have experienced harassment or discrimination.

  • The Health & Counselling Centre supports student health and well-being by offering medical and counselling support. It provides students with information, tools, and resources to help them make healthy choices in support of their personal and academic goals.

  • The Sexual Violence Prevention & Support Centre helps and supports students, staff, and faculty at the University of Toronto who have been affected by sexual violence or sexual harassment.

  • University of Toronto Mississauga Campus Safety is dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment for students and the broader UTM community.
