Responding to data inquiries from various units at UTM, Yan conducts data extraction, data wrangling, and develops reports/dashboards to investigate, monitors and provides reliable data and meaningful analyses that support data-informed planning, decision-making and continuous improvement.
Yan has been working at UofT since 2017 at the divisional data field. Prior to UofT, Yan worked in the insurance industry for many years, from customer service, underwriting, project management to the actuarial field.
Yan possesses a bachelor degree of Computer Science and completed Certificates of Risk Management, Business Analytics, Project Management and Process Improvement. In her spare time, Yan enjoys reading and doing yoga. Yan also spends time volunteering with diverse cultural activities to promote different culture backgrounds.
