Jinli Yang

Jinli holds a master’s degree in education administration and policy from OISE. Before returning to UTM as the Acting Assistant Director of Divisional Research, Analysis and Assessment, she had years of experience working in various data analytics roles in key offices at the University. Most recently, she worked as a Senior Planning & Budget Officer at the University’s Planning & Budget Office and focused on advancing the University’s tuition schedules and tuition revenue forecast portfolio.

In her current role, Jinli leads the UTM’s data team to develop data reports, strategies and solutions to serve offices from across the division. She continues to employ her knowledge and experience in data analytics and stakeholder relationship building and management to advance UTM’s data services and strengthen our data-informed decision-making practices.
