Chief Librarian Search: U of T Mississauga
Dear colleagues,
Dany Savard’s appointment as interim chief librarian at the University of Toronto Mississauga ends on 30 September 2024. The position is a senior library administrator under of U of T’s Policies for Librarians.
In accordance with these policies, we will convene a committee to advise on the search to fill this position on a continuing basis. As university chief librarian and acting vice-president and principal, we will chair this committee together, which, alongside us, will have a minimum membership as follows:
- one member of the teaching staff from UTM
- one Associate University Librarian
- one Library Department Head
- four librarians, at least three of whom will have permanent status positions in U of T Libraries
- three individuals who are not librarians
We welcome nominations to serve on the committee, including self-nominations.

Please include "UTM Chief Librarian Consultative Committee Nomination" in the subject line, specifying the membership category as listed above. Lesley will compile the nominations for our review.
