The 50th Anniversary has allocated three funds towards campus events and projects to showcase the innovative, collaborative and unique spirit of UTM. Celebrating our 50th provides an opportunity to share U of T Mississauga’s story, the past and the future. Everyone within the UTM community is highly encouraged to help celebrate this milestone.
Please read through the criteria of each fund before submitting your proposal. Proposals can only be submitted to a single fund, not multiple funds. Before applying for funding, please review the Strategic Brief.
If you require any assistance or further information about each fund prior to applying, please contact Tara Fader at email@example.com
Funds have been made available in the form of a grant, for all UTM affiliated department 50th celebratory events and projects, that support the following objectives and criteria:
- The event or project must fall within the 2017 calendar year
- These events and projects should be innovative and unique to the anniversary year, while also promoting UTM's history, pride, culture, and the contributions made by the UTM community.
A representative from the department can apply for funding, either individually or as partners in a joint event/project. By submitting a 50th Celebrations Proposal outlining the aspects of the event or project, the applicant assumes the lead role and responsibility for the event/project. Be sure to include as much detail as possible when submitting your proposal.
Two Legacy Funds have been established to support initiatives that showcase UTM’s legacy for future generations, contribute to the vibrancy of the UTM campus and celebrate its history and future.
Proposals may be submitted by any group or individual(s) within the UTM community: students, staff, faculty, student organizations and administrative or academic departments.
