Indigenous Pedagogy

• 7 Grandfathers in Academic Integrity, a set of teachings which has been woven into UTM's Code of Behaviour in Academic Matters.

• The Deepening Knowledge Project, OISE's Aboriginal Peoples Teaching Database which seeks to infuse Indigenous' peoples histories, knowledges, and pedagogies into all levels of education in Canada.

• Four Feathers Writing Guide, a resource which respectfully presents traditional Coast Salish teachings and approaches to learning to support Indigenous students develop as academic writers.

• Indigenous Canada Course from Coursera, a 12-lesson Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) that explores Indigenous histories and contemporary issues in Canada.

• Native Land, a resource which presents mapped illustrations of treaty lands and traditional homelands of specific indigenous groups.

Indigenous Resources Specific to UTM

• The Office of Indigenous Initiatives provides resources for support Indigenous students, staff, and faculty at UTM as well as inspire future Indigenous students to a welcoming and inclusive UTM community.
