Ming Fei Li is a Ph.D. candidate in the SHEL lab. Her dissertation research is centered around the question of how risks affect sleep. She will be working with an agropastoral community in the Eastern Cape province in South Africa. Ming Fei obtained her B.A. & Sc. from McGill University with double majors in Anthropology and Biology. She completed her M.Sc. from the University of Toronto under the supervision of Dr. Julie Teichroeb and her project focused on social foraging strategies in vervet monkeys in Uganda. Ming Fei plans to integrate theories and methods from both social and natural sciences in her work
