Erica Kilius | Ph.D. Graduate

Erica Kilius obtained her Ph.D. in Evolutionary Anthropology at the University of Toronto in the SHEL. Prior to the SHEL, she earned her M.P.H. in Population Health from Simon Fraser University. She also holds a B.Sc. in Biological Anthropology from the University of Toronto. She is broadly interested in sleep and seasonality, evolutionary mismatch, and public health. 

For her Ph.D research, she was working with Alaskan Yup'ik populations to understand how their sleep interacts with ecological and social environments to influence health and wellbeing.

Currently Erica serves as an assistant professor at the University of Northern British Columbia.
