UTM Orientation

What is Orientation?

UTM Orientation is a program to welcome you to the UTM community and prepare you for the year ahead! From social events to learning more about navigating the campus, from connecting with your academic departments to learning how to access services and supports, UTM Orientation has a variety of events you can pick from to get you ready for your university journey.

Above all, Orientation introduced me to plenty of incredible friends I continue to spend lots of time with.
As someone who was unfamiliar with the Canadian culture and university life, attending orientation events helped me form a pretty good idea of how things work in Canada and reassured me that I made the right choice.
As a first year student who was nervous about the transition to University, Orientation was a great way for me to explore campus, get my questions answered, and feel more connected to the UTM community.
It was very informational and I got to have fun while meeting new people in the same boat, got an idea of what to expect on my first week, and made some new friends...I really enjoyed attending orientation and would recommend it to future students.
