Mississauga, Ottawa

Group activities include:

  • Travel from UTM to Ottawa
     
  • Walk along the Rideau Canal
     
  • Group dinner in the Byward Market

Optional:

  • Explore the Byward Market

Day 2: Sunday, October 8, 2017

 

Ottawa

Group activities include:

  • Tour of the Supreme Court of Canada
  • Visit the Canadian War Museum
     
  • Your choice of several Ottawa Museums

Day 3: Monday, October 9, 2017

 

Ottawa, Quebec City

Group activities include:

  • Tour Canada’s Parliament Building
  • Travel to Quebec City
     
  • Explore the Dufferin Terrace and Le Chateau Frotenac

Day 4: Tuesday, October 10, 2017

 

Quebec City

Group activities include:

  • Visit the historic Plains of Abraham
  • Tour the Quebec Parliament building
     
  • Learn about Quebec’s military history by visiting its Fortifications and la Citadelle de Québec

Day 5: Wednesday, October 11, 2017

 

Quebec City

Group activities include:

  • Engage with Quebec’s culture and history through a walking tour in Old Quebec. See its colonial atmosphere and cobblestone roads
  • Visit Quebec’s three main museums: Musee de la Place-Royale, Musee de la civilization and Musee de l’Amerique Francophone

Day 6: Thursday, October 12 2017

 

Montreal

Group activites include:

  • Set off for Montreal!
  • View Montreal's beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral;
     
  • Explore the city’s history by being present during the various festivities and events commemorating Montreal’s 375th birthday

Optional:

  • Visit Montreal’s famous Jean Talon Market and AtWater Market
  • Spend the evening in Montreal’s Mile-End known for its food, live artistic events, and famous poutine and bagels!

Day 7: Friday, October 13, 2017

 

Montreal

Group activities include:

  • Emerge into Montreal’s foodie culture by visitings its popular food markets and take part in a food tour
  • Visit PAC Montreal Archaeology and History Complex and learn about Montreal’s heritage and history
     
  • Learn about the St. Lawrence River and its impact in the development of Montreal by visiting the museum: Musée des maîtres et artisans du Québec

Day 8: Saturday, October 14, 2017

 

Montreal

Group activities include:

  • Celebrate Montreal’s 375th anniversary through a guided tour of Mont-Royal, known for its beauty and its significant impact on Canadian sports
  • Visit Canada’s largest church: St. Joseph Oratory of Mount Royal and admire its beautiful views during Autumn
     
  • Experience Canada’s sport culture through a “Hockey night in Canada” in Montreal as the Montreal Canadiens play the Toronto Maple Leafs

Day 9: Sunday, October 15, 2017

 

Mississauga

Group activities include:

  • Travel back to UTM
