Are you curious about children's language, cognitive, and social-emotional development?

The Infant and Child Studies Centre at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) was established in 1973 for the purpose of studying children’s development. Over the years, while infants and children engage in game-like tasks at our state-of-the-art facility, we have gathered valuable information about the development of babies and children from 4 months to 15 years of age.

"We love coming to UTM to be part of their studies! They make it so easy, from a reserved free parking spot to a great reception room with toys for the kids. The studies are lots of fun and we enjoy helping to further research on infant and child development. Definitely worth doing!"

"I’ve brought all 3 of my children here over the last 10 years. The kids have fun and it was a great excuse for an excursion. Bonus that the kids got gifts to bring home with them!"

"This is a great opportunity to help out with infant study research. Each of my kids had fun and received a "Junior Scientist" diploma, toy, and T-shirt! The staff are wonderful and run very interesting studies. All the best!"
