Congratulations to Elizabeth Wijaya and Weijie Lai for their continuing success in film production. Mongrel won the Camera d’Or Special Mention at Cannes and received a lot of positive coverage in the international press.

That is a rarity, even in Cannes.” Focus Taiwan CNA English News reported that Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture “expressed congratulations on the movie’s recognition at Cannes, saying that along with other films, it showcased the talents of Taiwanese filmmakers.”
