After receiving my Hon. B.A. from the University of Toronto and Montessori Teaching Diploma, I spent more than fifteen years in the education and early years sector, continuing my education and professional development in different areas including family supports, community engagement, and yoga and mindfulness. It was while working with families that I developed a passion for community development as well as social-emotional development. Prior to joining SEDI Lab, I worked with the Mississauga community as a facilitator in EarlyON Child and Family Centres. I am able to continue my commitment to supporting young children and their families through our community work and partnerships.
My work here at the SEDI Lab weaves many of these experiences together as I support our administrative operations, knowledge translation, and community partnership development. Currently, I am working towards an M.Ed. in Adult Education and Community Development at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at UofT.
