Careers in Psychology Panel at U of T Mississauga
On January 30, 2025, students at the University of Toronto Mississauga attended a Careers in Psychology Panel hosted by the Centre for Child Development, Mental Health, and Policy (CCDMP). Students got to hear from five amazing panelists with professional backgrounds in clinical psychology, counselling, research, education, and community development:
- Dr. Amelia Hsu, School and Clinical Psychologist
- Felicity Morgan, Director and Registered Psychotherapist
- Jermeka Castello, Enhanced Youth Outreach Worker
- Mirella DiSanto, Clinical Supervisor
- Dr. Redab Al-Janaideh, Project Manager
Our wonderful host, Youness Robert-Tahiri, moderated live discussion and Q&A sessions while students got to engage with panelists in an informal networking session after the panel.
This event provided students with a valuable opportunity to explore diverse career paths within psychology and expand their knowledge and options within the field. Panelists and attendees provided positive feedback about the success of the event in providing new insight and opportunities for connections, learning, and development.
