DESCRIPTION

The University of Toronto Mississauga Campus Safety team recently advised the community of a safety concern regarding a male who physically overtook and assaulted a female on the second floor of the Communication, Culture, and Technology building on August 4, 2024. The University of Toronto Mississauga and the Peel Regional Police Service worked collaboratively using various measures to identify the suspect. On August 7, 2024, Peel Regional Police arrested and charged the suspect. The suspect will be prohibited from attending any University of Toronto campus.
