The City of Mississauga is commited to planting One Million Trees by 2032, and we are here to help! Join fellow UTM alumni, family and friends in Tecumseh Park and lend your efforts to reaching this inspiring goal.
Here's what to prepare for your tree planting experience:
- Wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes and be prepared to get messy!
- Dress for the weather in removable layers. Hats, sunscreen, long sleeves and pants are recommended.
- Bring water in a reusable bottle to stay hydrated.
- Wearing a mask is recommended for those with dust allergies
Street parking is available in the area.
Washrooms are not available at the park. The closest washrooms are a short drive at Tim Hortons located here.
Space is limited to 50 participants. This is a rain or shine event.
