Nina Mazic's career is rising like the bubbles in a glass of soda, which is appropriate as the U of T Mississauga alumna has been part of the marketing team with a beverage industry giant for the past six years.
During her time at UTM, Mazic was a student with the Communication, Culture, Information and Technology program, where she specialized in digital enterprise management and professional writing. A recipent of bot the Gordon Cressy and Principal's awards, Mazic graduated in 2006 and worked as a marketing specialist with Cannon before joining Coca-Cola in 2009.
Since then, she has held several marketing positions with the beverage company, including her current role as a senior marketing manager with Coca-Cola's McDonald's division. Mazic works closely with restaurants, customizing national marketing programs to food service locations with the goal of increasing beverage sales.
In 2012, Mazic was customer marketing lead on a new project with the company, helping to launch Coca-Cola Freestyle in Canada. The innovative and interactive new beverage dispenser serves over 100 different drink options.
