Reconnect and reminisce with members of the Italian Club of Erindale (ICE) at the first ever ICE reunion. Celebrate with a cocktail reception and live music with other ICE alumni, students, faculty and staff.
As one of the oldest clubs on campus, ICE has promoted Italian culture at UTM and in the community through social, cultural and academic activities, including Italian theatrical performances by the student, faculty and staff led group, Maschere Duemondi (Two-World Players).
After the reunion, watch a special performance of this year's Italian play—Ciao, Professoressa! The play tells a story of a teacher who is accidentally transferred from northern Italy to a school near Naples where she struggles to accept the differences between her and her students. Over time, she discovers that she learns just as much from her students as they do from her. This show is recommended for ages 12+. Presented in Italian with English subtitles. Running time is two hours including one intermission.
