Canada's first female criminal profiler, Kate Lines (BA 1977) shares some of her stories from her best-selling book Crime Seen: From Patrol Cop to Profiler, My Stories from Behind the Yellow Tape.
For more than twenty six years Kate's police expertise was investigating the worst of the worst violent crimes. Having worked on such high profile Canadian cases as the abduction of Michael Dunahee, the murders of Tammy Homolka, Lesley Mahaffy and Kristen French, and the murder of Tori Stafford, Kate acknowledges that few of her stories have happy endings but there are poignant, inspirational and courageous aspects to all of them.
