Do you or someone you know struggle to understand conversations in everyday situations? Nearly one-third of older adults have difficulty understanding conversations—even without clinically significant hearing loss.
Professor Bruce Schneider, director of the UTM Centre for Research on Biological Communication Systems, explores why these difficulties occur, what can be done to alleviate this problem and how we can change the way society views older adults who have trouble hearing in noisy environments. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
Registration is closed.
Complimentary parking in lots P4 and P8.
Please contact Alumni Relations if you require information in an alternate format, or if any other arrangements can make this event accessible to you.
