Inkbox: The Chemistry, Growth, and Future of Semi-Permanent Tattoos

Friday, March 28, 2025 | 11 a.m.-12 p.m. | HSC Boardroom (located within HSC 330)*

Join our partnerships team later this month when they'll host guest speaker Dr. Christopher Caputo, Chief Science Officer of Skin Compatible Technology at BIC. This talk will explore the chemistry and history of Inkbox, the Toronto-based start-up that pioneered semi-permanent tattoos and was acquired by BIC in 2022. It will highlight the role of research partnerships in Inkbox’s success and discuss potential future directions. The session aims to spark a brainstorming discussion on new research collaborations for those interested.

*Please note that this is a hybrid event, and you are welcome to join us in person or online via Zoom. A link will be emailed to all registrants before the talk. 


NEW! Institutional Core Facilities Equipment Database

The Division of the Vice-President, Research & Innovation (VPRI) is pleased to introduce the Institutional Core Facilities Equipment Database. Core Facilities are research facilities across the institution’s three campuses offering specialized research services or access to equipment.  

If you have a research project requiring the use of specialized equipment, visit the searchable database to see what is available. If you have questions about costing or usage restrictions, please contact the facility directly.
