March Open House

Join us during our March Open House and get a deeper understanding of our programs and where they can lead. Professors, students and staff will also cover important admissions processes, how to pay for university, student life opportunities, and much, much more!

Campus Map

Every building is colour-coded; use this map along with the schedules below to find your way. Building signage and volunteers will be throughout campus to help.

Parking

Free parking will be available in Parking Lot P4 and Lot P8 (directly across from the RAWC). Please do not park in P6, P7 or P10; these will not available during the event. 

Checking in

Check-in will take place at the RAWC entrance across from P4/P8. 

Check-in to the event by scanning the QR code provided in the email you receive after registering for the event. If you are attending the Scholar's Breakfast & Reception, please check your email for specific instructions. 

Free Wi-Fi

On the day of the event:

1. Text "OpenHouse26" to 1-833-338-7626 to receive your personal username and password.
2. Follow the instructions and download the security certificate to your device.
3. When on campus, join the “eduroam” network and enter your received username (ending with “@eva.eduroam.ca”) and password.

Prayer Rooms

For those who require a private space, Brother's and Sister's rooms are available for worship during the event in the CCT building. Speak to staff in this building for guidance.

Guided Campus Tours

Explore the different buildings and state-of-the-art student facilities, check out various student hangouts, and take in the beautiful scenery.

Register & receive your ticket to attend this tour in the Davis Meeting Place (outside of the Tim Hortons) Tours start every 15 minutes.

Anthropology Lab Tours

10:00am – 3:00pm

Take a glimpse into the past! Visit the Anthropology labs to interact with specimens and artifacts from the Department’s collections.

Drop by the Anthropology table in IB to be directed to the lab in DV 2045 any time. 

Blackwood Gallery Lightbox Tour

10:00pm – 3:00pm

Attend a tour of the Blackwood Gallery, a contemporary art centre dedicated to open public research and the E-Gallery in the CCT building.

Visit the Visual Studies table in MN to be walked over to Blackwood Gallery. 

Biology Lab Drop-ins

11:00am - 1:00pm, 2:00pm - 3:20pm 

If Biology is your domain, check out our labs! Our undergraduate research projects give students valuable, first-hand experience working in a laboratory environment. 

Guests must pick up a ticket at the Biology table in IB. Drop-ins happen every 20 minutes in Davis - room DV 2055.

Chemical & Physical Sciences Lab Tours

12:00pm – 2:00pm

Drop by the CPS table in IB to be directed to the lab.

Erindale Studio Theatre Tours

11:00am – 12:30pm

Take the stage at Erindale Studio Theatre where professional-quality theatrical performances are held!

Drop by Erindale Studio Theatre, located in between Deerfield Hall and Erindale Hall, or visit the English & Drama table in MN.

Economics Tours

11:00am – 3:00pm

Go inside and explore our classrooms, review university texts and syllabi, sample exams, and chat with our faculty and Teaching Assistants.

Drop by the Economics Aid Room in KN 114.

Forensic Sciences Crime Scene House Tours

11:00am – 3:30pm

Our Crime Scene House allows students to investigate simulated crime scenes. (Due to limited space, this tour is only open to prospective students.)

Tours leave every 40 minutes from the Forensic Science table. Last tour leaves at 2:50pm.

Game Studies Station

Grab a controller and a friend and face off at this special station hosted by the Game Studies minor at UTM. Winner takes all! 

Drop by the English and Drama table in MN.

ICCIT Tours

11:00am – 3:00pm

Drop by CCT 3110 any time from 11:00am - 3:00pm.

Library Tours

During a guided library tour, visitors will be given an overview of the Library’s services, resources, and facilities. Explore the Syd Bolton video game collection, visit the Digital Exploration lab, and see our Outer Circle Recording Studio.

Drop by the library anytime, or be directed there from the table in the RAWC gym.

Psychology Teaching Lab Demos

Explore our Psychology labs alongside faculty and students.

Drop by the Psychology table in IB to sign up for teaching lab tours that happen after our presentations in DH 2050.

Recreation, Athletics and Wellness Centre

Residence Tours

Take a look at your new home in one of our residence tours, happening regularly during MOH.

Drop by Erindale Hall to be taken on a residence tour.
