Students of the Week 10

Rawan DisoukyRawan Disouky

Rawan graduated from McMaster University with an Honours in Biology and a Specialization in Physiology. She has extensive volunteer experience and enjoys modelling, painting and expressing herself creatively.

Her most recent work experience was as a Pharmacy Assistant at Shoppers Drug Mart Patient Contact Centre where she was recognized for her exceptional customer service and leadership abilities.  She hopes the MMI will allow her to secure a project management role in the healthcare or retail sectors.  

 


Adil QadariAdil Qadari

Adil majored in Biomedical Sciences at York University. His studies allowed him to gain insight into early stages of drug discovery. During his time at York, Adil founded and successfully led two student clubs that which helped both students as well as biotechnology researchers. 

Adil has extensive client facing customer service experience and has been recognized for his sales outstanding performance by being promoted to an assistant manager role. 

 After completing the MMI program, Adil aims to work for in consulting.  He is looking forward to applying his problem solving, analytical, and communication skills to solve complex business problems for clients across many industries.


Manahil MalikManahil Malik

Manahil completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto Mississauga where she also worked as a researcher in behavioural neuroscience and molecular biology.  She has held several student leadership positions including serving as the co-president of Free the Children at UTM.

Manahil is particularly interested in the real-world application of scientific research geared towards improved healthcare and medicine, technology and environmental sustainability. She hopes to work for an organization that values creativity and team building skills.
