Prandium - Call for Papers

Heather Thornton

If you have written a research paper that has earned a 75% or higher in a Historical Studies course and want to present your research findings to other undergraduate students, please send Dr. Petrakos a 150 word abstract of your paper to: chris.petrakos@utoronto.ca by February 26th. Successful applicants will be notified by March 2nd.

This is a wonderful opportunity to gain valuable experience presenting your research and build your C.V. and resume! The conference attendance is open to all students and we encourage you to attend! Lunch is provided!

We will begin March 19th at 10:00 am with our 2017 Prandium authors presenting research related to their published papers (http://jps.library.utoronto.ca/index.php/prandium). At noon we will have an hour for lunch, courtesy of the Historical Studies Department and the Historical Studies Student Association. From 1:00 to 3:00 we will have student presentations followed by a half hour coffee break. The conference concludes at 5:00 pm.

All are welcome! Please do let Dr. Petrakos know if you have questions about the abstract submissions and/or the conference in general. We look forward to seeing you all there.

Dr. Petrakos can be reached at: chris.petrakos@utoronto.ca
