Please be advised that there will be a scheduled electrical shutdown on Saturday, July 13, 2024. During this day, the men’s changeroom will be available for locker use only. Alternative lighting will be provided. We encourage you to use the all-gender changeroom during this timeframe.

The fitness centre will be closed; group fitness, and indoor drop-in sports are cancelled for the day.

However, the following programming will run as scheduled:

Swimming lessons 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Gym A/B Rental
Open Field and Courts (Drop-in Tennis & Beach Volleyball)

Update May 28: The left (west) double door at RAWC will be closed starting Thursday, May 30th until mid June. The right (east) double door, will remain accessible during this time.

The RAWC outdoor entrance is getting a facelift and access to our facility will look a little different over the summer months. Please note that the sidewalks along the entrance will be closed and bicycle racks in front of the RAWC will be removed during the construction.

Pedestrians are encouraged to use the East pedestrian crossing between P8 and RAWC building, although a temporary path will be made available for the West pedestrian crossing as well.

Head's up! The Recreation, Athletics, and Wellness Centre (RAWC) will be closed on Friday, June 28, 2024 for Presidential Day and Monday, July 1, 2024 for Canada Day.

The RAWC will be open for regular weekend hours on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30, 2024.

Please note we make every effort to respond to requests in a timely manner. All requests will be responded within 72 hours, in the order that we receive them. Read more on our Rules and Regulations.

To provide a safe-space for all who use the RAWC, photography and videography are prohibited in all areas unless you have written approval from the department.
