University of Toronto Internal Transfers
If you wish to transfer to U of T Mississauga from a different U of T faculty, you should apply using the Internal Application for full-time studies or the Part-Time Application for part-time studies. Admission will be based on your overall academic record and your most recent year of full-time studies. Competitive applicants usually have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 2.5. In addition all program prerequisites must be met.
Students who have already completed an undergraduate degree at U of T’s Faculty of Arts and Science or U of T Scarborough may complete a second undergraduate degree at U of T Mississauga provided that the second degree is of a different type than the first (e.g. a student who has completed a BA at U of T’s Faculty of Arts and Science may not complete a second BA at U of T Mississauga).
Students admitted to U of T Mississauga with previous acceptable standing at U of T’s Faculty of Arts and Science or U of T Scarborough do not need to pay for a Transfer Credit Assessment: their courses and grades will be automatically retained and remain on their academic record.
Students admitted to U of T Mississauga with previous acceptable standing at other University of Toronto undergraduate divisions (i.e. Applied Science and Engineering, Music, Physical Education and Health) must pay for Transfer Credit Assessment.
Students, who previously attended U of T Mississauga and wish to return after an absence of at least 12 consecutive months should complete a Request to Re-Activate Student Record Form.
